International technology transfer

  • IRAN, mid 2008: Cooperation agreement with SinaCell for technology transfer of CaReS® to Iran; transfer completed in March 2009; approval by Iranian authorities in August 2009; first patient treated in September 2009.
     
  • TURKEY (incl. Near & Middle East, except Iran, North Africa): Cooperation agreement with ONKIM, a company of the Sabanci Group, the largest mixed goods company in Turkey; contract concluded in December 2009; completion of the technology transfer in March 2010; first patient treated in Q2 2010.
     
  • JAPAN, March 2011: Cooperation agreement with the Institute Foundation Biomedical Research and Innovation (FBRI) in Kobe for the development of CaReS® for treatment of arthritic joint defects.
