  • 1999: Foundation of the company in Saarbrücken, Germany
  • Focus on tissue regeneration for orthopaedic, spinal, and trauma applications, based on proprietary collagen type I matrix and ACI

  • End of 2002: First implantation of the CaReS® basic technology

  • Mid 2003: Acquisition of the assets and business Mediphore AG, Krems, Austria (allograft processing) and implementation of an industrial production of tissue engineering of the CaReS basic technology by Arthro-Kinetics Biotechnology GmbH

  • August 2003: Approval of the production facilities in Krems, Austria under Austrian law as manufacturer of collagen matrix, CaReS® implants (basic technology) and processed human bone tissue.

  • 2005: Acquisition of the CTBA upon request of the Province of Lower Austria

  • 2006: Merger with Endospine Kinetics Ltd. to Arthro Kinetics Plc and listing on the London AIM (highest market capitalization approx. € 60 m)

  • 2006: Establishment of a joint venture in China and cooperation with Japan

  • 2008: De-listing from the London AIM and change in legal form from PLC to Ltd as well as liquidation and allocation of adequate shares of the German-Arthro Kinetics AG to the shareholders of the PLC (completed by mid 2011)

  • 2008: Transfer of R & D activities to Krems, Austria

  • 2009/2010: Legal restructuring, CE approval for CaReS®-1S, recapitalization of the operating companies and development of new distribution structures

  • 2012: Start of European distribution of CaReS®-1S

  • 2013: Start of CaReS®-1S international distribution
